Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on his marriage anniversary shared a cooking video with his wife to extend his best wishes to her. But the opposition Congress was quick to take a jibe at the CM with the 'cylinder price'.
In the video, Shivraj Singh Chouhan can be seen sitting with his wife in an open area where she is cooking. He wrote in the caption, "Happy marriage anniversary to life partner".

In the same video, a woman can also be seen making rotis on a stove on which Congress was quick to take a barb and said, "Respected Mama Ji. Now your trouble of burning the stove is going to end soon because as soon as Kamal Nath becomes the Chief Minister, gas cylinders will be available at Rs 500."

The Congress has announced that women in Madhya Pradesh will get a monthly aid of Rs 1,500 and a cooking gas cylinder will be made available for Rs 500 if the party is voted to power in the upcoming Assembly polls.

After the 2018 Assembly elections, the Congress, which won 114 seats in the 230-member House, formed a coalition government under Nath. The BJP had won 109 seats.
The Nath government fell in March 2020 after several MLAs loyal to then Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia defected to BJP, paving the way for Shivraj Singh Chouhan to return as the chief minister.
